A Love Story Thirty Years in the Making

Hello friends. Before October comes and goes, I need to share a late summer wedding with you!

Richelle & Jeremy are longtime friends turned husband and wife. I was honored when Richelle reached out to capture their wedding. They have known each other for thirty years as Jeremy is a long time friend of Richelle’s cousin. Both admitting to crushing on each other back in day, but never pursuing it. Even though life took them in different directions, their roads always were meant to lead them right back to the same place.

Together.

I mean, how cute is this love story?

Richelle is a former coworker of my brother’s, and she had previously hired me to capture a fun bachelorette party she hosted for a friend. Richelle is also a talented artist, so knowing she loved my work enough to hire me again meant so much. It was truly an honor to be the one documenting this next chapter!

As a second marriage for both, the day wasn’t about a big, drawn-out event. Instead, it was about a special Sunday spent celebrating with their closest family and friends. The details were sweet, thoughtful, and so perfectly them.

A little rain shower even made an appearance, just enough to bring some of that good-luck energy as they began this next chapter as husband and wife!

And the officiant? None other than the very cousin and longtime friend who unknowingly helped bring these two together all those years ago. How special is that?!

Richelle & Jeremy live next to a wonderful walking path surrounding by a beautiful pond filled with gorgeous trees, plants and even swans! They held the ceremony here. It was so picturesque.

This music loving, traveling & adventure seekers were truly meant to be! Their vows explained so much of this. Jeremy even accompanying Richelle on her journey to find Bon Jovi’s high school while in Jersey. Richelle providing the truth to Jeremy flat out during the ceremony, she loves him almost as much as Bon Jovi! Haha! That made me laugh out loud behind my camera! Because if you know Richelle, you will know how much she LOVES Mr. Bon Jovi. So Jeremy, she really loves you a lot!

Richelle & Jeremy, cheers to a lifetime of love, laughter, adventures, great music, and wonderful memories together. What a beautiful reminder that sometimes the best love stories take the scenic route.
