Hello friends! It has been raining Senior Sessions over here at Renèe Craig Photography.. and I LOVE IT!
There is something about these sessions that are so fun and fresh!
The kids have been so thrilling to get to know.
Their futures are so exciting.
Plus, they are living in the now..embracing all that is to come as a high school senior.
I have been posting away about the previous senior sessions, it may have caught the attention of Lily’s family on social media! A local, Wheaton North senior was looking for a photographer to capture her own photos. YAY! They landed on my site and I was so grateful to have been chosen as her photographer.
Let me tell you about Lily. To begin, she is the Class President of 2027 and a proud Wheaton North Falcon. (I actually saw her on the morning news promoting her high school pep rally!)

She is bright, brilliant, kind and beautiful. She works hard both in and out of school, and even gives some of her personal time to working with younger students.
And she has BIG plans for her future.
When asked about her future, Lily shared:
I would like to go to Penn State to major in Behavioral Sciences with a minor in Special Education. I would like to go on to get my masters in Applied Behavioral Analysis and use it to become a BCBA – a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst.
From what I have seen from all the seniors I have met this fall, they work hard, and are going to chase big dreams. It is truly so wonderful to witness! The future generation has it figured out!
The location was already determined. Lily had dreamed of having her senior photos taken at Cantigny Park, and I have to say… I completely understood why.
Cantigny Park
It is such a beautiful place to wander, and Lily was looking for color. I think we nailed that!

We met up on an early Saturday evening, and the park wasn’t nearly as busy as I have seen it in the past. It was almost as though we had the place to ourselves.
The weather was perfect.
We strolled through the gardens, chatted, laughed, and I got to know Lily and her mom a little better along the way. These are the moments I love most about senior sessions—not just taking the photos, but getting to know the person behind them.
Sometimes fate really does play a role in who you meet.
I was honored that Lily’s family chose me to capture this special season in her life. And now, as I continue to see her milestones pop up on that same place where they first found me—Instagram—I feel a little bit like a proud friend.
Her first Homecoming. Speaking on behalf of her graduating class. Decorating the halls for pep rallies. All of those little moments that make up this final year.
Lily, enjoy these last few months at Wheaton North. Soak it all in. The friendships, the school events, late nights.
Your hard work and dedication will carry you far.
Cherish this season. Cherish these memories. And I hope you always look back at these photographs and remember exactly who you were at this moment in time.
Rooting for you, Miss President. ❤️
